Maxime Coulombe

PhD student

Maxime Coulombe is a PhD student at the department of political Science at Université de Montréal. In his MA thesis, he explains the turnout gap between Prince Edward Island and the other Canadian provinces at the aggregate level. For his PhD dissertation, Maxime will explore the mechanism linking social pressure and electoral participation. His areas of interest include electoral behavior, political socialisation and voting systems. Maxime holds a SSHRC Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship (2020-2023).
