Thanks to a Mitacs Globalink Research Award, between October and December 2021, Philippe Mongrain completed a research stay at the Centre de recherches politiques de Sciences Po (CEVIPOF) in Paris under the supervision of Romain Lachat. During his stay, Philippe worked on the fourth and final paper of his doctoral dissertation in which he analyzes the impact of unfulfilled voters’ electoral expectations on their level of satisfaction with democracy and perceptions of electoral integrity. Preliminary results of this article were presented on December 7, 2021 during the Seminar on Quantitative Approaches in Political Behaviour held by the CEVIPOF. This stay was also a great opportunity to discover parts of France, Belgium, and the Netherlands!
