Philippe Mongrain is a PhD student at the Department of Political Science at the Université de Montréal. He has written an MA thesis on election forecasting and has developed a model to forecast the outcome of Canadian elections. For this project, he obtained the Joseph-Armand Bombardier scholarship of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) in 2015 and an MA-scholarship of the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Société et culture (FRQSC) in 2016. Philippe holds a PhD scholarship from the FRQSC and the SSHRC.
