2019 CPSA Conference, Vancouver

Several Chair-members attended the Annual Conference of the Canadian Political Science Association, that took place at the University of British Columbia, in Vancouver.

Both Florence Vallée-Dubois and Semra Sevi presented multiple papers during the conference (for more information on the program, see here).

Florence Vallée-Dubois presenting her co-authored paper “Patterns of Legislative Speeches in the Parliament of Canada”.
Semra Sevi presenting a co-authored paper on “Citizens’ Views of Representation”.

Finally, Ruth Dassonneville presented a co-authored paper on “Voting at 16”, based on the data from a quasi-experiment with voting at 16 in the city of Ghent (Belgium).
