Amanda Leal is a Master’s student in the Department of Political Science at the University of Montreal. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Her research interests are focused on the intersection of democracy and technology, including the influence of social media and emerging technologies in the electoral process.
